Carved Wavy Vase
Wheel-thrown and hand-altered stoneware vase with an undulating rim, two small handles, and rhythmic carved designs around the vessel. The green-blue glaze covering the outside is highlighted by lines of brown texture and is reminiscent of both the stillness and fluidity of water. The interior of the vessel is glazed black with drips of bright blue flowing down from the rim.
